About the Event
For the last several years, The Sheriff's Assistance for Employees (S.A.F.E) has sponsored a charity golf tournament. Sheriff Taylor kindly requested the tournament be renamed in honor of two of our fallen members: Capt. Leide DeFusco who was tragically lost in the line of duty during a narcotics operation in August of 2012 and Sgt. Warren Watts who was also tragically lost during his conditioning training for SWAT in June of 2012. Both of these gentlemen represent the fine men and women that work for the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office. They paid the ultimate sacrifice for this Office and their Community and for that we pay tribute to them. Furthermore, we honor those in our Agency who are no longer with us, but with us in spirit. They will be forever in our hearts!
Registration begins at 7:00 am, and Shotgun Start at 8:00 am.
